Busy, Busy... too busy to add a third busy...

So being a HUGE socialite, working full-time, and being a Mom, as well as sooo many other things- I have been ridiculously busy - which I am sure is needless to say, but I am saying it anyway. Maybe my schedule needs to take a break...it doesn't happen often that I have a free night available, and my schedule is booked out about two weeks - I know it sounds like my life is a business, right?!
My spirits are a little down at the moment, only because I miss my little girl. we have been on the go and doing stuff all summer that I feel as though I haven't had a moment to sit down, look her in her beautiful eyes and tell her how I love her oh so much. It has been fast paced and I just want to have some much needed quality time with my Baby Girl! So I have decided that Madi is my Priority from now on, she will be my nightly event and I am going to put her name in everyday on my calendar! I feel like I have been a neglectful Mom, not necessarily a bad Mom, but I haven't been being the Mom that I really Want to be... A Mom who pays attention to ALL of the small things, a Mom who is there at any needed moment, a Mom who has time to adore all of the precious moments of her fast paced life... I love her, and she is already 16 months, I don't want to miss any of this time that I have with her!

Being a Mom is my TOP priority.

As if My "Mom-Mind" was read

running across this fabulous site called blogher.com, a community for Women who blog... There is a group that is so me that it screams my name!

It is called: This is my "Mom Body" not my real one.

Here is the synopsis:

"This is my "mom body" not my real one. My real one is hidden under large, stretchy, itchy clothes that are meant to camoflauge my "muffin top". My real one is screaming to get out, but I am busy eating my kids' left over lunch so I can't hear it. My real one is skinny, hot, and dying to be discovered under this imposter body. I still look for clothes for my real body, but my "mom body" won't fit in to them. My "mom body" is the one I catch in the mirror and am startled as if I just saw a stranger in my bathroom! I still feel like the old me, but I certainly don't look like her! Be gone "mom body". I need my real body to come out!"

Madilynn = Entertainment

I love her soo much. She is doing this new thing where she bobs her head back and forth like she is mimicking 'Night at the Roxbury'; it is hilarious! I laugh uncontrollably... pretty much all the time when I am with her!
She is becoming more and more independent, it is almost as if she is no longer a baby. It is so much fun, but I am sort of missing her infancy.

She dances now, it is adorable. She loves listening to music, I swear she is going to be a dancer and a singer, mark my words...

She loves to walk. Although she isn't a pro at walking, she sure is daring. She will take off and end up on the floor, and she doesn't care, even if she does get a bump, she will do it again... my little fearless child, she is!

Very persistent, her personality is flourishing. I am so proud.

As I was rocking her last night I told her that I never imagined that I would have such and amazing, beautiful, and joyous little girl, she way surpassed anything that I could have dreamed.

I feel like becoming a Mom has completely changed every aspect of my life. Like I had screens over my eyes, and now they are removed. As much as I complain about the extra pounds and the stretch marks, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat for my little spunky Madilynn!
