I hate to be a Debbie Downer and keep dwelling on the negative, I just honestly want to feel better though...
I have seen so many doctors in the past year - so many that I don't even have enough fingers to count them all, so I gave up. I have been told that I have Addison's Disease, Hypotension, chronic fatigue, extraordinarily low BP, orthostatic hypotension, the simple case of being a 'New Mommy', and so many other little things... Every doctor seems to have their own opinion, and none of them seem overly concerned. When my BP is 80/46 - Last time I went to the doc - they responded, 'Oh, it is good to have low blood pressure.' Really? even if it is constant, even when I was prego it was low, and the funny thing is that I can never get enough salt and that is supposed to raise your bp!
Seriously, I can see how it can be a culmination of things (it doesn't help, with all of the changes that have gone on this past year...) but I am sure that there is a core issue that is not being treated here. Daily dizziness, fatigue, and faintness are no fun, and have to be the result of something that is going on deeper, right?! Can someone just please start taking it seriously, because it is getting irritating!
So, I have taken the liberty of trying to advocate for myself, by seeking a diagnosis- not the best idea, I know, considering I have no medical education - So, I have been looking up my symptoms. All of the issues I deal with really seem symptomatic of Hypotension of some sort...
Anyway, I am going to go and see a pulmonary sleep specialist to see if maybe I have some sleeping problems, because I am so exhausted all of the time, even if I get plenty of sleep, hopefully the sleep study will reveal something!

Giving your baby a bottle in the crib...
So, apparently we all have some sleeping habits whether they are good or bad...
Madi, had some great ones. When she started to get fussy I would usually just give her a pacifier and lay her down in her crib with Melody (her bear that plays music), which is one of the most amazing inventions that I have ever come across, by the way, I actually bought it a target for $20. She would snuggle in close to the bear nuzzling her face in, and typically go right to sleep, with no fussing or crying. It was fabulous, people who would be over visiting would be amazed. I was quite amazed as well, because for so long she would wake up a ton at night, so I did not in any way shape or form take it for granted!
At night I typically read to her, then give her a bottle as I rock her in the chair, and then lay her down with her bear and Paci, never with a bottle. She isn't taking the bottle very well from me lately, she fights it and acts as if she doesn't want it from me, and tries to sit up acting fussy. I have noticed that she isn't going down as well either. Often she will start crying very loudly once I lay her down. She will kick around moving herself from one end of the crib to the other, while screaming. I couldn't believe it! What had happened to my child that would fall asleep so wonderfully before, and take a bottle from me, enjoying our time together?! So, I asked Dan if he was doing anything differently. His initial reply was 'No' then I asked if he was giving her a bottle in the crib, 'On Occasion' he replied. I was definitely irritated, needless to say! I asked him to please discontinue doing this that it is very unhealthy, and not good at all for Madi's sleeping habits. Then this morning as I dropped Madi off at daycare (at my Mother-in-law's) I asked her the same question. Her reply was, 'Yep.' Argh!! What?! You should know better!! Is what I was thinking, not the best response, I know. So I kindly said to her, 'Can you please not giver her a bottle, especially now that she has teeth, I don't think that it would be good for her.' Her reply was 'Yes.' and nothing more...
Do you think that it would be inappropriate for me to give THIS (click on THIS to view) to my Mother-in-law??
I don't get it, am I THAT anal, or am I being ridiculous?! I just always thought that it wasn't a good thing to prop a bottle or to give a baby a bottle in the crib. More than anything I think that it is a convenience thing for the caretaker, and not healthy for the baby. She apparently does both, so again I am reminded of how desperately I desire to raise my own child, so my heart is sad!
But I had a great weekend, and how wonderful is it that I have temporary physical custody!? No more missing my daughter to death!

Good news
The doctor called. He said that the growth was benign. YAY! I had a feeling that it wasn't cancer. I am releived to say that I won't have to go through another oral surgery. I will see the doctor in another 3 months.
I went apartment hunting on Saturday and found a place. It is great! It is Blackberry Pointe in Inver Grove Heights. It is in the perfect location and the apartment itself is beautiful. They are fairly new apartments, which is nice because the layouts (and conditons) are very nice. I plan on moving in the first week of November! Can't wait...
So, I am pretty sure that I have sleep insomnia. I have a tough time sleeping at night. I wake up atleast once an hour, so needless to say I am pretty exhausted, most of the time all I want to do is sleep. So, off to the doctor I need to go, if anyone has any suggestions in regards to this issue feel free to give me some advice. I think that a big reason for the "Insomnia" or whatever you want to call it, is being a Mom. I am just always concerned about Madi, every time I wake up I have to check on her to make sure that she is doing okay. Maybe a sleeping pill would help take the edge off.
And for those of you who know about my issues below (with chilbirth complications) things are getting better. I feel as though the surgical procedure that I had done about a month ago really helped along with some other regimens that I have been doing. Some days are worse than others, but overall I am doing much better (I don't have an anxiety attack anymore when I have to go to the bathroom...). I will be going to the OB soon to discuss the surgical revision, she just wanted me to get some of my other medical issues addressed before we did surgery. Not only that, when I do have surgery I am going to need to be out of work for atleast 10 days, so I want to have everything all set up to work from home. So I am going to wait until I move in to my new place.
Thanks to everyone for all of your encouragement and support, you have all been wonderful, through this tough year (this is going to be a quite historical year in my book, lots of changes...)
ps Madilynn is going to be 6 months on October 10th, I can't beleive that she is already half a year old!! She will be walking in about 6 more months, tiome really flies by when you are having fun.
