I am encouraged to pray harder for our nation after reading this article. I personally have known a couple of women who wish that they were counseled better, and given all of their options before aborting their babies... after experiencing life (and death) inside of your womb, you are forever changed.
and just a side note, I DO NOT want my money to go toward funding for population control in other countries via abortions, that is sooo not the answer!
PS why does the media seem to support abortion?? seriously, should it be used as a birth control?! argh... that is all I have to say, it is Friday, and it is going to be a good day :)

If life was valued by society, people would treat each other with honor and respect. Society has forgotten that each person alive is precious, so have they forgotten that the unborn is precious too.
God have mercy...
You are so right, and what they don't realize is that unborn babies are alive!
My heart is sad.
I don't think the media is supporting abortion. I think they are simply acknowledging a woman's right to control her own body. I love babies also, but I love my right to control my uterus even more.
I think that one of the problems with abortion is the lack of responsibility. Sex Ed is taught at a very young age so most everyone knows what the possibilities are if they have sex. When you make the decision to have sex you are responsible to face the consequences that come along with it. One of which is when you choose to have sex you are choosing to give your uterous to a baby who might possibly be conceived. If you become pregnant it is then your responsiblility to follow through with those consequences, and I beleive that NO MATTER WHAT a baby is always a good consequence; regardless of who, what , where and when it happens.
I am not saying that with abortion there should be condemnation on the woman at all, we are human and we all make mistakes, and everyone has their own individual situation. I personally live in Grace, God's Grace. But what I am saying is that I beleive that a life is way more precious than a womans right over her body.
I understand as well that there are other instances such as rape, or incest... and I know that when that is the case I couldn't even imagine how hard of a decision that would be to make. I don't blame any woman who chooses to have an abortion regardless of the situation, I am sure that when that choice is made it is probably a really tough one. I have been in hard places and have made some bad decisions, so in no way am I judging anyone who gets an abortion. But it is sad to me for both the woman and her unborn baby, because both are drastically affected by that choice that is made in a negative way.
I don't beleive that abortion is ever the right decision, because like I said before Life is the most precious gift that we can receive. It is not fair for us to take that away from an innocent baby?
That is why I whole heartedly beleive that while you are 'sexually active' it is important to be in a marriage, for our sakes, and the babies sake. Life is more precious than 'Control of our Uterous'.
