50 Pictures for 50 weeks
I am doing this #1 becuase I am a picture fanatic and thought that it would be fun and #2 I have been Reminiscing over the last 50 weeks of Madilynns life, plus the 39 that she was growing in my womb... I love her more and more everyday that passes by! And she becomes more and more beautiful everyday.

Why is there Pain and Suffering?
Without pain, suffering and tribulation we wouldn't understand Love, we would have no compassion or faith, we would have no appreciation, we would have no strength and courage, no endurance or patience, no character at all, but most of all we would have no clue how amazing our God truly is. This is my own take on why there is pain and suffering, it is not a curse but a gift to unvweil our human eyes to reveal Gods goodness... so, why there is pain and suffering...
"A man went to a barbershop to have
his hair cut
and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began
to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things
and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the
subject of God, the barber said:
'I don't believe that God
exists.'
'Why do you say
that?' asked the customer.
'Well, you just have to go out in
the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God
exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned
children?
If God existed,
there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving
God who would allow all of these things.'
The customer thought for a
moment,
but didn't respond because he didn't
want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the
shop.
Just after he left the barbershop,
he saw a man in the street with long,
stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer
turned back and entered the barber shop
again and he said to the barber:
'You know what? Barbers do not exist.'
'How can you say that?' asked
the surprised barber.
'I am here, and I am a barber. And I just
worked on you!'
'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't
exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair
and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.'
'Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when
people do not come to me.'
'Exactly!' affirmed the customer.
'That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens
when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.'"

Seans condition is getting worse!
Please be praying!
Sean cannot walk or even stand, his legs buckle if he attempts to. April is really concerned, and they are both having a hard time facing this realization. I got off of the phone with her about an hour ago.
Please, if you are able to, go and visit Sean he needs support, encouragement, and prayer!

I will praise You in this storm

I think that I am learning to dance in the rain, God has revealed so much to me these last few months. There have been ups and downs but overall, I am dancing in the rain right now. Although I am struggling because I am drenched with water and cold, figuratively speaking of course, I am still making the best of it :) with Gods help of course. I am learning to lean on him, because I cannot do it alone.

Wow, Youtube is pretty amazing! All I do is dock my video camara on my computer and the videos upload, no conversion. So I have started uploading videos. Everyone is welcome to stop by and see them,

Caring Bridge For Sean
Sean, my Brother in Law, is in the hospital. Please keep him in your prayers!
MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2009
Approximately 3 weeks ago, the end of February 2009, Sean began feeling tingling in his feet, it felt as though his feet were falling asleep. The following day his feet were completely numb. It proceeded to his legs, and now everything below his hips are completely numb. He is still able to use them, it just takes extra effort. He is extremely uncomfortable. He still has control of his bodily functions. He has lost movement in his toes on both feet, and now his left knee is buckling making it difficult to walk. His symptoms are progressively getting worse as time goes on.
He is now admitted to the Nuerology unit on the 7th floor at United hospital and they are running numerous tests trying to find a diagnosis. They are currently seeking a second opinion and they are pretty sure that it is Multiple Sclerosis,.
They have done multiple tests including 3 MRI's and a spinal tap. They have confirmed that there is inflamation around his T10 vertebrae, a spot was detected on his contrast MRI on 3/14.
As he is in the hospital they are also going to be addressing his hypertension and high blood pressure. They think that that as well, is of some serious concern. They informed Sean and April that they may need to put a stint in his heart during his stay, but this is not yet concluded, we will let you know as updates regarding this issue come about.

Just a quick tid bit : Sean and April just celebrated their 11 year anniversary, at the hospital. They have 4 children and two more on the way.

UPDATE 3/20/09: He can no longer stand or walk due to the buckling of his knees. The physical therapist is wroking with him. They found 3 more lesions on his brain in addition to the one on his spine.
UPDATE 3/23/09: Sean is now experiencing partial loss of sight in his right eye, due to the inflamation.
UPDATE 3/26: They are now performing Plasmapherisis, to try and treat his symptoms.
